Education For Crypto and NFT Beginners

1. What Is An NFT?

NFT is an abbreviation for non-fungible token. It serves as a public certificate of authenticity and proof of ownership for a specific digital or physical asset. An NFT can be bought and sold in an NFT marketplace.

All NFT transactions are recorded on blockchains, which are immutable and transparent to the public.

Currently, all Frost digital art NFTs are one-of-a-kind, minted on the Polygon blockchain.

2. What Is A Digital Wallet?

A digital wallet is a wallet that stores your NFTs and cryptos. You could use it to buy and sell NFTs and cryptos on various blockchains.

It has a public Wallet Address that is transparent to the public, a private Password for login, and a private Seed Phrase for recovering your wallet.

You should always keep your seed phrase private, and never show or share it with any third party. You should print it out and keep it somewhere safe. Don't store your wallet Password and Seed Phrase on your computer or phone.

3. How To Get A Digital Wallet?

The most popular digital wallets is MetaMask wallet.

You can use Chrome browser to download the MetaMask wallet.

Go to MetaMask website and follow the instructions: https://metamask.io/

Then follow prompts to create a wallet, set a Password, and securely save your 12-word Seed Phrase.

Please make sure to add the Polygon Network in your digital wallet.

You should always have a little bit of the Polygon token POL in your wallet for transaction gas fees.

Before you sell or transfer your Frost NFT, always check the Polygon gas tracker before your transaction: https://polygonscan.com/gastracker

Transactions made late at night and on the weekend in the US usually have low gas fees.
